Wildlife Resorts in Bandhavgarh
Tiger Den Resort
Location : The Tiger's Den resort is located in village Tala, 400
yards from Bandhavgarh National Park. The resort is at a distance of 240-kms
from Khajuraho and 35-kms from Umaria.
Accommodation Facilities : For lodging there are 16 cottage type
twin-bedded rooms with attached bathrooms as well hot and cold running water
facility are available.
Tiger Trails Safari Lodge
Location : The Tiger Trails resort is located in
village Bijaria that adjoins Bandhavgarh National Park and is at a distance
of 240-kms from Khajuraho and 35-kms from Umaria.
Accommodation Facilities : 12 cottage type twin-bedded rooms with
attached toilets. Hot and cold running water.
Attractions : This is a small National Park; compact, yet full of
game. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest
known in India. This is also white Tiger country. These have been found in
the old state of Rewa for many years. The last known was captured by
maharaja Martand Singh in 1951 . This White tiger, Mohun, is now stuffed and
on display in the Palace of the Mahrahahs of Rewa.

Tiger Den Resort
Location : The resort is located in village Khilchipur that is very
close to Ranthambhor National Park. It is 450 km from Delhi & 185 from
Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan.
Accommodation : 20 double bedded rooms and 8 Swiss Cottage tents
with attached toilets. Hot and cold running water.
Activities : Wildlife viewing by jeeps & open-trucks, bird
watching, nature walks, treks, fort visit etc.
Tiger Moon Resort
Location : Tiger Moon Resort is ideally situated
in close proximity to the Ranthambhore National Park in Sawai Madhopur.
About the hotel : Tiger Moon offers Rustic Rajasthan with cottage
accommodation with gently sloping tiled roofs give you all the modern
amenities you need. Other facilities include swimming pool, Dining hall
serving Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine, a bar and a library. To

Sawai Madhopur Lodge
Location : Sawai Mahopur Lodge is a 70-year-old
hunting lodge of the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur, is set amidst 12 acres of
lush gardens. The lodge is a 20-minute drive from the Ranthambore National
Park, which is famous for its tiger population. The Lodge is one km from the
Sawai Madhopur Railway Station which is on the main line with connectivity
to India's capital, Mumbai, Chennai & Calcutta and 180 km (3 hrs drive)
from Jaipur (nearest airport).
About the lodge : Built in 1930 by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh 11 of
Jaipur as a lodge for his hunting trips to the jungles of Ranthambore which
were the favorite hunting grounds of the Royalfamily of Jaipur. The
highlight of the trip to Sawai Madhopur is the visit to the Ranthambore
National Park, which is one of the finest habitats in the world for the
Tigers.
Sher Bagh Hotel
Location
: Sher Bagh is the first camp and is situated on the periphery of the
Ranthambhore National Park. The premise of the company was based on the need
to conserve the delicate balance between man and nature and show, through
example, how tourism can be constructive and when necessary, controlled
effectively.
About the hotel : The camp consists of 12 luxurious bedroom tents
with attached verandahs and bathrooms, a dining tent, a cafe and lots of
verdant spaces in which to loll! Originally designed for HH the Maharaja of
Jodhpur at the turn of last century. These tents were used on hunting
expeditions. They also catered for an overflow of guests at the palace and
even for Vice Regal and Royal visits. Tented cities used to spring up and
provide extreme comfort even in the remotest of locations. The tents are
custom made, raised on a concrete plith. The attached bathrooms are
permanent with running hot and cold water. There is 24 hour electricity at
the camp The bedrooms have all that you need from heaters to hot water
bottles.
