Our Commitment To Conservation

We at Pench Jungle Camp believe that there
is an urgent need to conserve and protect our rapidly dwindling wildlife and
alarmingly depleting forest cover. Task of such magnitude and immense
importance can not be carried out without the involvement of the local
residents and tribals.
The only way of securing their commitment is by promoting sustainable
tourism by giving employment opportunities to local residents, so as to make
them self reliant and less dependent on the forest for their livelihood.
Thus the benefit of tourism development should trickle down to the local
inhabitants thereby making them responsible and responsive in the wildlife
conservation efforts.
